Born in 1957, in
Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ruben started collecting knives when he was
a kid, and whether he was camping, fishing or hunting, knives have
always been something that he had with him at all times. He started
making knives in 1989 when he was living on a small apartment and
his bigger tool was a hand drill, being totally self-taught in this
new career. At age 36, he bought a new house that allowed him to build
his own shop and has been making knives as a full time knifemaker
since then. Ruben creates his own designs and doesn't replicate them,
making each one his knives a unique piece. With a vast experience
in jewerly and engraving, his work caters to a select audience that
apreciate not only the knives designs, but also the carefull attention
to craftmanship details and exclusive materials used. Ruben's works
are not only pieces of art but fully usable knives as well.
